Dr. Sharon Krikorian is a staff psychologist and psychoanalyst at the Austen Riggs Center, who began her career at Riggs by completing the four-year post-doctoral Fellowship in psychology. Over the years she has served as a consultant in the Therapeutic Community Program, a treatment team leader, and the interim director of patient care at Riggs. Currently, she is an individual psychotherapist, co-family therapist, and clinical supervisor. Dr. Krikorian earned her PhD in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She completed a two-year clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital, where she specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. In addition to making numerous clinical presentations, Dr. Krikorian has co-authored publications regarding the dynamics of treatment team functioning.
