Transcript
So, once the patient has completed the interview over the phone or on video call, then we talk about next steps, which include gathering some clinical information to help us inform whether or not this is the right fit at this time. The nature of our open setting is quite unique, and so we really need to assess for appropriateness for the setting and for the type of treatment that we offer and that generally involves speaking with any current or recent outpatient providers, gathering records, discharge summaries from any recent inpatient stays or other residential programs, and speaking with whomever would be financing the treatment. All in an effort to make a determination about putting someone on our waitlist. Our waitlist varies, and best to just ask the admissions clinician that you're speaking with at that time what the waitlist looks like.
