Rockwell and Erikson’s Relationship the Topic of Lecture at the Norman Rockwell Museum

Riggs staff member Jane G. Tillman, PhD, along with Norman Rockwell’s Deputy Director/Chief Curator, Stephanie Plunket, kicked off the Art, Love, and Identity Lecture Series at the Norman Rockwell Museum on Tuesday, July 9, exploring the therapeutic friendship of illustrator Norman Rockwell and psychoanalyst Erik Erikson and highlighting shared themes in their work relationship. This series continues every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. through August 20 at the Norman Rockwell Museum. On July 30, Riggs Medical Director/CEO Eric M. Plakun will take part in the series, giving a presentation on the Four Freedoms of Mental Health.
