Alden Beane is an administrative assistant at the Austen Riggs Center.

Based in the Corner House, she works for the communications, development, and referral relations teams, providing logistical support for each group such as processing expenses, tracking data, and coordinating office operations.

Having managed a small business and then created one of her own, Alden has many years of business management heavily laced with interpersonal relationship building.

Alden is an avid animal lover, and audio book enthusiast, who enjoys hiking and spending time with her two dogs, husband, close friends, and family. She has served on The Board of Directors for both The South County Recovery Center and Canine Link Therapy Dogs, and aspires to become fluent in American Sign Language.

Jodi Shafiroff is the director of development and alumni relations at the Austen Riggs Center.

Ms. Shafiroff has worked for nonprofits for more than 20 years, most recently as executive director of the Becket Athenaeum. Her previous experience includes connecting startup nonprofits to the foundations most likely to give them funding, donor cultivation and management, as well as programming direction and teaching.

Ms. Shafiroff volunteers as a development consultant for several Western Massachusetts nonprofits.
