Alumni Community

What began as informal gatherings of former patients has evolved into a community of more than 1,000 members. At present, former Riggs patients receive the information on how to join the Alumni Community as they discharge. There is no longer a waiting period. Members connect with each other at social events in Stockbridge and on quarterly Alumni Zoom Social Gatherings. Two to three times annually, a small number of members also attend Transitions Meetings on campus to share their experience of leaving Riggs with current patients. Alumni activities culminate every three years in a two-day reunion, held in Stockbridge for former patients, former staff, and former trustees.
