Tufts Medical Center Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds presents:

Eric M. Plakun, MD, DLFAPA, FACPsych

Goals and Objectives:
1) Review genetic and clinical research evidence suggesting that much of contemporary psychiatry is based on false assumptions
2) Understand the link between these false assumptions and the phenomenon of treatment resistance
3) Understand the implications of these false assumptions for treatment, research, and patients’ lives
4) Learn elements of psychodynamic therapy and a psychodynamic systems perspective that correct the false assumptions
