Alumni Community
The Austen Riggs Center Alumni Association was established in 1995 by Ess White, MD, to support the mission of Riggs through advocacy and philanthropy. What began as informal gatherings of former patients has evolved into a community of more than 1,000 members. At present, former Riggs patients receive an invitation to become a member of the Alumni Community one year after discharge. Members connect with each other at social events in Stockbridge and on quarterly Alumni Zoom Social Gatherings. Twice yearly, a small number of members also attend Transitions Meetings on campus to share their experience of leaving Riggs with current patients. Alumni activities culminate every three years in a two-day reunion, held in Stockbridge for former patients, former staff, and former trustees.
If you are a former patient and would like to join the Alumni Community, please complete the form below.
