Are the Foundations of Riggs Treatment Scalable?

Dr. Margaret Parish discusses aspects of the Austen Riggs biopsychosocial treatment model as offering potential contributions to the solution. It is based on three pillars: Patient authority, pursuit of meaning, and relationships. Although much of our work at Riggs is focused on one patient at a time, community and group work can make such treatment efforts scalable.

Dr. Parish presented this talk at the Austen Riggs Center's Centennial Conference - The Mental Health Crisis in America: Recognizing Problems, Work Toward Solutions.
