Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides competent and confidential support to TCP and Nursing department directors and staff serving as liaison between directors and other departments, employees, patients, board members, contractors, and visitors. Includes administrative support of Performance Improvement projects, activities, and dietary. The position may be combined with other supporting and administrative responsibilities in other areas as necessary.
Required qualifications include:
  • Associates Degree/Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use a computer, telephone, fax, and other office equipment.
  • Experience using Zoom videoconferencing.
  • Previous experience with electronic health records is helpful.
  • Ability to apply established protocol relative to work situations.
  • Ability to follow detailed direction and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take instruction from multiple sources, take initiative and follow through to assure effective outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently, or part of a team.
  • Possess the ability to be aware of the various dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, identity, and ethnicity.
  • Demonstrated skills in diplomacy and interpersonal sensitivity, and ability to identify and maintain boundaries.
  • May be required to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb stairs and move intermittently throughout the Center
