Dr. Sharon Krikorian is a clinical psychologist and treatment team leader at the Austen Riggs Center. She began her tenure at Riggs by completing a four-year, post-doctoral fellowship at the Center. During part of that time she also served as a consulting psychologist at the Connecticut Junior Republic Residential School. Dr. Krikorian earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and trained in a two-year clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital, where she specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. She has co-authored publications regarding the dynamics of treatment team functioning and is currently an advanced candidate at the Berkshire Psychoanalytic Institute.
