Conferences

The Erikson Institute hosts several annual conferences each year designed to share our learning and expertise and to learn from others including:

  • College Counseling Center Conference
  • Conference on Developmental Psychopathology, Family Process and Social Context (in collaboration with the Yale University School of Medicine)
  • Fall Conference for clinicians and scholars
  • Friday, April 13, 2018 - 12:45pm to 4:30pm

This half-day conference will present a developmental model to guide prevention, intervention, and treatment of young children and families. Contemporary research examining moment-to-moment parent-infant interaction will be presented and clinical applications of the research will be discussed, with opportunities for participants to address relevance to individual practice situations.

  • Saturday, July 21, 2018 - 9:00am

This one-day conference is being held in memory of the Rev. Dr. A. Wesley Carr, former Dean of Westminster Abbey (1997-2006), former Erikson Scholar, and former member of the Erikson Institute Council of Scholars of the Austen Riggs Center.

  • Saturday, September 29, 2018 (All day) to Sunday, September 30, 2018 (All day)

DUALITY’S END: Computational Psychiatry and the Neuroscience of Representation brings together, for the first time, experts in the psychology and neuroscience of representation with experts in the emerging field of computational psychiatry for a two-day conference at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, a premier destination in Western Massachusetts.
