The Riggs Blog
The Riggs blog is a mix of news about clinical work, research and educational activities from the Austen Riggs Center, as well as a source for information beyond our walls that we find interesting and thought-provoking.
On November 9-10, the Erikson Institute for Education and Research at the Austen Riggs Center hosted a working conference entitled Psychodynamic Training in Psychology: Crises, Challenges, and Opportunities. Attendees consisted of individuals from 22 psychodynamically oriented training programs in the USA and Canada.
We offer a two-year Fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and a four-year Fellowship in advanced psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalytic studies.
Recently, Austen Riggs held a blog competition among staff members where we asked them to write about what makes Riggs unique. Over the next few weeks you will read entries from a diverse field of respondents. Congratulations to Lindsay Codwise, Development Assistant, for creating the winning blog entry.
