Flexible Spending Accounts

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is part of the benefit plan offered to you by Austen Riggs and allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay for certain medical and/or dependent care expenses. There are two types of FSAs: a Medical FSA (for eligible medical services provided to you, your spouse or your dependent) and a Dependent Care FSA (for eligible dependent care expenses). Our new plan will be administered by Benefit Resource, Inc.

A Flexible Benefit Plan allows you to pay for certain benefits, like group insurance premiums, a Medical Flexible Spending Account and a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, on a tax-free basis.

When you enroll in your Austen Riggs sponsored Flexible Benefit Plan, your contributions are not subject to Federal, FICA and most state taxes. This means you bring home more money in your paycheck!”
