Edward R. Shapiro Community Center

As patients move off the main campus and take the risk of deepening their connections to the outside world, maintaining a sense of membership in an ongoing therapeutic community becomes even more important as a sustaining space. The Edward R. Shapiro Community Center is the cornerstone of the growing therapeutic community. The building accommodates rooms for group and community meetings, social gatherings, classrooms, recreation and exercise. The  building also creates a more tranquil environment in the patient Inn, with additional space available for newly-admitted patients.
