Crisis Stabilization

Open Hospital Program Short-term, inpatient care in the Inn for patients whose treatment alliance and personal safety in our open setting is in question, and for whom more structured support is needed to avoid transfer to a closed setting. Patients collaborate with the staff in setting limits on their freedom to maintain their safety during their brief stay in the Open Hospital Program. They are closely monitored by the nursing staff, and have around-the-clock access to nursing support. The goal is to establish an alliance that supports treatment at a lower level of care, or to clarify the need for discharge or transfer to another facility.

Program Assessment Status A short-term transitional stay in the Inn for patients who require temporary transfer to a higher level of care for increased contact with nursing staff or peers.
