10.20.2009  Medical Director/CEO Announces Retirement in 2011

Medical Director/CEO Edward R. Shapiro, M.D., plans to retire from his position June, 2011, capping a 20-year career with the Austen Riggs Center. The Board of Trustees has initiated a search for his replacement, with the intention of having the search completed a year prior to Dr. Shapiro’s departure.
