Annual Giving and the Austen Riggs Benefactor Circle

With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, donors to the Austen Riggs Center become members of the Austen Riggs Benefactor Circle (ARBC). These gifts provide critically needed support for the important work that Riggs does in helping "treatment-resistant" patients become people taking charge of their lives. Your gift can be directed to any of the following areas:

  • Patient Aid to enable patients to prolong their stay at Austen Riggs when needed.
  • Education and Outreach to enable Riggs to extend the impact of its work to the larger mental health field and to the general public.
  • Clinical Research to help us learn more about our treatment methods and the patients we serve and to impact the mental health field.
  • Capital projects to ensure the comfort of our patients and the work environment for staff by enhancing our facilities.
  • Activities Program including the Montessori School, Lavender Door, Drama Program and Greenhouse.
  • General Fund to enable us to use your gift where it is most needed.
